Startup Week Düsseldorf 2025 marked a very special milestone for Düsseldorf’s startup ecosystem. With its tenth anniversary, a completely new visual identity, and the close collaboration with Future Tech Fest, this year’s edition clearly showed that Startup Week continues to evolve and set new standards for innovation, networking, and future technologies.
Ten Years of Startup Week Düsseldorf
What began in 2015 as a regional event series with a comparatively small startup community has grown over the past ten years into a key institution within the startup ecosystem. Startup Week brings together founders, companies, investors, talents, and innovators while creating space for exchange, inspiration, and new collaborations.
The tenth anniversary was therefore not only a reason to celebrate, but also an opportunity to reflect on the development of Düsseldorf as a startup hub. Over the years, the startup scene has grown significantly and continued to develop dynamically despite economic challenges. Throughout this journey, Startup Week has remained a central meeting point for innovation and entrepreneurship.
A New Design for the Next Generation of Startup Week
In 2025, Startup Week also introduced a completely new visual identity. The modern design represents the continued development of the event and its strong focus on the future of the startup ecosystem.
Clear colors, a modern appearance, and a stronger digital orientation have made Startup Week more visible, more international, and more accessible. The new design lays the foundation for the next stage of Startup Week and underlines the ambition to make innovation visible not only through content, but also through its visual presence.
Future Tech Fest and Startup Week – A Strong Connection
One of the major highlights this year was the collaboration between Startup Week Düsseldorf and Future Tech Fest. Bringing both events together created even stronger connections between startups, companies, investors, and technology experts.
Future Tech Fest became one of the central meeting points of the week. As Germany’s largest B2B startup conference, the event provided a platform for future technologies, innovation, and international networking. Topics such as artificial intelligence, GreenTech, HealthTech, and digital transformation played a key role throughout the event.
In addition to high-profile speakers, panels, and networking opportunities, the close integration with Startup Week sent a strong signal for the continued growth of Düsseldorf as a leading innovation hub.
Another highlight of the week was the Day One Venture Night. The event brought together startups, investors, business representatives, and venture capital stakeholders while providing a stage for innovative ideas, inspiring conversations, and new partnerships.
