Startup Week Düsseldorf 2026: The Beginning of a New Decade

2026 marks a special milestone for Startup Week Düsseldorf. With its eleventh edition, the event not only enters a new year but also begins the next decade of the Startup Week. Over the past years, the event has become an integral part of Düsseldorf’s startup ecosystem and attracts founders, investors and innovation enthusiasts far beyond the city’s borders.

From a Local Network to a Growing Startup Ecosystem

When Startup Week first took place in 2014, Düsseldorf’s startup ecosystem consisted of around 100 startups. Since then, the scene has developed dynamically. Despite global challenges such as the pandemic and economic uncertainties, the community has grown to more than 550 startups.

Over the past eleven years, Startup Week has become a central meeting point for founders, innovators and investors. For many entrepreneurs, it has provided the decisive inspiration to take the step into starting their own business. The event has therefore evolved into a well-established institution within the regional startup landscape.

With an updated design and new thematic impulses, the success of previous years will continue in 2026 and will be further expanded.

What’s New at Startup Week 2026

International Focus

Startup Week is evolving from a primarily regional event into an increasingly international platform for innovation. The goal is to reach a global audience and bring together innovative ideas and business models from around the world. This development opens the event to new international collaborations and perspectives.

Collaboration with Future Tech Fest

In 2026, Startup Week will once again take place in cooperation with the Future Tech Fest. The conference is considered the largest B2B startup conference in Germany and brings together startups, companies, investors and technology experts.

This collaboration creates a unique platform where future technologies, disruptive trends and new business models can be discussed. At the same time, it fosters new synergies between startups, established companies and investors.

Thematic Focus Areas

These areas represent innovations that will significantly influence the economy and society in the coming years.
