What is Startup Week?

Startup Week is where Düsseldorf’s entrepreneurial spirit comes to life, powered by the Office of Economic Development.

For 10 years we take care of organizing, coordinating, and promoting the week, with one clear mission: to celebrate bold ideas, spark innovation, and connect the people shaping the future of business.

And the best part? We don’t do it alone. Companies, startups, and institutions can apply to host their own events and become part of this growing movement. We make sure the program stays fresh, diverse, and packed with quality content covering everything that matters in the startup world.

Once approved, event hosts run their own sessions, which is why you’ll need a separate ticket for each event you want to attend.

If you have any questions about your ticket, it's best to contact the event organizer directly. If you're experiencing issues with your cart or payment, please reach out to the ticketing provider Rausgegangen's support team.

Live Tickets

The Startup Week program primarily features live events with a limited number of participants.
That’s why you need a separate ticket for each event.

Create your own personalized schedule by selecting your tickets on the respective event page and adding them to your cart. You can then conveniently order them as print or mobile tickets.

Please note that ticket sales for live events generally remain open for a short time after the event has started, but this is at the discretion of the event organizer.
Many organizers charge a small fee as a security deposit to minimize the no-show rate.

Streaming Tickets

You can participate in digital events online, though many have a limited number of participants. Please note that for most digital events, ticket sales close 30 minutes before the event starts. The link to the event will be sent to you via email by the organizer shortly before the event begins.

Code Required

If a ticket requires a code, you can only attend the event after a successful application. For events with a code, check the event description to find out how to apply. If you have any questions, it's best to contact the organizer directly. Once your application is approved, the organizer will send you a ticket code, which you can redeem in the shop to purchase your ticket.

Can tickets be refunded if I can’t join?

The organizer handles refunds.

Can I get an invoice?

In the purchase confirmation email and on the order completion page, you’ll find a button to automatically generate your receipt.

Please note: receipts can’t be generated for free (0€) tickets.

Which payment options are available?

Available payment methods may vary by event organizer, but typically PayPal, credit card, and Sofortüberweisung are accepted.
