Digital stress and AI, constant availability, and a rapidly changing work environment shape the everyday working lives of many employees. Especially for scale-ups and SMEs, the question arises of how excessive psychological strain at work can be recognised, assessed, and reduced at an early stage. After all, healthy and productive work design, effective leadership, and prevention are becoming increasingly interconnected in many companies.
In this interactive online workshop, participants will first receive a concise introduction supported by a small number of slides. Key stress factors, typical impacts on health, collaboration, and performance, as well as relevant data and statistics will be presented in an accessible way.
A particular focus will be placed on the assessment of psychological stress at work as a practical tool that enables companies to systematically identify risks, derive suitable measures, and implement them — while also fulfilling their legal obligation as employers. Additional insights can be gained through an optional employee engagement analysis or burnout risk screening.
After a short round of introductions, there will be time for questions, discussion, and sharing experiences. The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of the topic, provide guidance, and highlight concrete approaches for prevention, leadership, and creating healthy as well as productive working environments.
The central question will be: What can companies do in practice to prevent health risks caused by digital stress and psychological strain — and how can they strengthen the mental health and performance of their leaders and employees through effective work and organisational structures?
