The INSPIRE! Female Business Brunch is once again part of Startup Week, and NRW.BANK and the Düsseldorf Economic Development Agency warmly invite you to the fourth edition of the event.
This year, the focus is on female founders and their personal entrepreneurial journeys. Under the title “Female Founder Stories – Between Vision and Reality”, the event will provide honest insights into everyday startup life: What does it really feel like to build a company? Which challenges and setbacks are part of the journey? And what helps founders keep going during difficult phases?
Female founders will openly share their experiences: from their first idea and defining moments to doubts, obstacles, and personal learnings. Instead of perfect success stories, participants can expect authentic experiences that inspire, encourage, and provide valuable insights for their own journey.
Together with representatives from funding institutions, networks, and support organisations, the founders will then discuss which conditions women need when starting a business. What role do networks play? Which funding opportunities are available? What is still missing for female founders today? And how can more women be encouraged to take the step into self-employment?
At the Female Business Brunch, participants will also have the opportunity to connect directly with representatives from funding institutions, networks, and support organisations, ask questions, and learn more about available programmes and services. During networking with food and drinks, there will be plenty of time to make new connections, exchange experiences, and become part of a strong community.
