The purpose of this expert discussion is to discuss current trademark law issues facing startups and scaleups in a relaxed setting within small groups. The focus will be on the protection of trademarks and business names, how these can be protected territorially during the startup or expansion phases, and what research and funding opportunities are available.
To begin with, each participant will present a key insight or pain point from their perspective. These insights will be collected, organized, and then analyzed collectively. Specialists from the law firm IPrime will also prepare short presentations on some current or recurring issues, pitfalls, and challenges.
